Purpose Statement
Re-Calling Our Ancestors exists to support white and white-passing individuals in reconnecting with their ancestral lineages as a pathway toward cultural renewal, accountability, and healing. We hold this space in response to the call from People of the Global Majority for white folks to do their inner and collective work in community, in service of reparations, repair, and reimagining a just and flourishing world.
Our mission is to convene white and white-passing people in intentional caucus to engage in ancestral remembrance, cultural reclamation, and resilience-building practices. By deepening relationships with our lineages and one another, we strive to strengthen our capacity to participate in cross-cultural and multi-racial movements rooted in justice, healing, and collective liberation.
