Project R exists to unveil the often-silenced voices of the refugee community—beginning with our own—and to invite the world to truly listen and respond. Rooted in the lived experiences of those displaced by political conflict, religious persecution, and personal hardship, our work seeks to honor the strength and complexity of the refugee journey. By capturing and sharing these stories, we hope not only to raise awareness and compassion but to inspire fellow refugees navigating their own uncertain paths. Through storytelling, community engagement, and collective action, we aim to generate support and funding that uplifts refugee communities as they rebuild their lives and imagine new futures in unfamiliar lands. Realizing the vision of Project R: Native of Hims requires humility, patience, and shared purpose. We invite the participation of those who are equally committed to justice, healing, and human dignity.
