Purpose Statement
Led by Fidel Moreno, Red Nations Rising exists to honor and elevate Native American voices in a national conversation of truth, healing, and reconciliation. Through Indigenous-led dialogue and cultural remembrance, the initiative strives to confront historical and ongoing injustices while restoring dignity, wisdom, and sovereignty to tribal communities.
Red Nations Rising is a restorative justice initiative and national roundtable led by Native Americans to promote healing from historical trauma and multi-generational grief. By engaging both Native and non-Native communities in dialogue, education, and cultural revitalization, we aim to cultivate deep respect for Indigenous traditions and to challenge the enduring impacts of colonial violence and systemic oppression. Our mission is to create pathways toward healing, justice, and collective transformation.
