About:
Purpose Statement
Situated on unceded Coast Salish lands, we acknowledge and respect the Quw’utsun (Cowichan) people's deep connection to these territories. We strive to educate ourselves and our communities about the history of this bio-region, aiding in decolonization and re-villaging as a means of global peacemaking. By embracing a circular exchange of knowledge, we cultivate an inclusive educational space where diverse backgrounds, experiences, and learning styles shape a dynamic and enriched community.
We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative learning environment where everyone is both a teacher and a learner. Through immersive experiences, we empower students to become educators themselves, strengthening their knowledge while sharing skills with others. Rooted in principles of permaculture, we are committed to regenerating land and ecosystems, honoring Indigenous knowledge, and supporting holistic community well-being.
