Tree Itlvgv Usti Willard
Tree is a Spirit-led, heart-centered, Two Spirit Cherokee citizen, a maker, healer, adventurer, and ceremonialist who has been bridging cultures and nurturing holistic wellbeing in families and communities for more than twenty-five years. Their passion for justice and peace has grounded their work as a nonprofit leader, activist, and antiracist community organizer, as well as their journey as a parent, artist, and singer/songwriter. They have founded organizations and led grassroots campaigns for equitable practice and policy changes in power wielding systems from local schools to our national legislature. They are currently fundraising for Hylo.com, a new organizing platform for changemakers to collaborate and learn from and with one another, as well the co-chair of Restoring Lifeways, a national network of cultural restoration and community healing organizations, working to reclaim, remember, and restore Indigenous cultures and the land that sustain our souls’ thrival in relationship with the Great Mystery.
