Purpose Statement
The purpose of Tiognaka Tawowakan Otokahe is to create a sustainable, holistic healing and wellness center rooted in Lakota worldview and values. Our work nurtures spiritual and cultural restoration, promotes the conservation of sacred plants, and revitalizes practices that sustain balance within ourselves, our families, and our Earth. Guided by the teachings of Mitakuye Oyasin — All Our Relations — we cultivate spaces of prayer, respect, compassion, kinship, wisdom, truth, and generosity so that future generations may walk in a good way upon Mother Earth.
Tiognaka Tawowakan Otokahe exists to strengthen the health, resilience, and cultural vitality of the Lakota people and all Indigenous communities. We support pathways of reconnection — to spirit, to land, to community, and to ancestral knowledge — fostering healing grounded in traditional lifeways and values.
