Queer Nature

About:
Purpose Statement
Queer Nature exists to cultivate belonging, resilience, and ecological intimacy for LGBTQ2+ and QT BI&POC communities through nature-based education, place-based skills, and critical naturalist studies. Rooted in ancestral futurism and informed by Indigenous and decolonial frameworks, our work dreams into alternative ways of being that honor interdependence, transformation, and deep relationship with the more-than-human world.
Our mission is to design and facilitate affinity-based, nature-connected experiences that weave together survival skills, naturalist practices, handcrafts, and ecological literacy with personal and collective transformation. Through mentorship, rites-of-passage frameworks, and embodied place-based learning, we nurture interspecies kinship and revive narratives of belonging for those historically marginalized or deemed "unnatural." We center queer and trans voices in reimagining modernity and fostering holistic community rooted in justice, ecology, and enchantment.
